club has been going so well.
here are five things ive really enjoyed since we started back up.
1. measuring my leg against deions arm (deion is 15 and six foot six) and having deions arm win.
2. having a student put a hole in the bucket of water that we were using to sink the pirate ships in at pirate club (they were using marbles to try to sink the opposing teams ships...sort of like cannon balls) and having the room start to fill with water while one of our adult volunteers tried to plug the hole with their fingers. i laughed so hard i was crying.
3. having all the adults bust into dance moves in the middle of a game when a backstreet boys song came on at club
4. when ronnie got lipstick all over his girlfriends teeth during a game (they were supposed to do apply lipstick to their partner but couldnt use their hands) and then seeing her smile after only they (ronnie and his girlfriend kristin) knew it was there; it was a fun suprise for the rest of us.
5. having our student leaders leading games, giving announcements, doing clotto, and running the powerpoint. its been really cool to see them take on leadership roles at club.
