yesterday part of our base flooded. some of my friends had water in their dorm rooms and several families living in military housing had their basement and cars flooded. there is mud all over. it was just like a crazy flash storm in the middle of the night and the drains couldnt handle the amount of water coming down. its going to be some crazy clean up for the next few days. i'm glad that i moved because were pretty sure my old house got a couple of inches of water in it.
on a different note, prom is tonight. i've been helping the girls set up both last night and today. i'm planning to go as a chaperone tonight to see all the girls in their dresses (i even got invited to a bon fire after with all of them but i'm not to shure if i'll go). i'm pretty stoked about where i'm at with friendships with kids right now. its a lot of fun.

soccer is over which is very sad.
i miss seeing the girls six days a week.

i'm sad that about 75% of the team is moving this summer.
i guess thats the military for ya.

i realised the other day that beach break is in like two weeks.
so crazy. join me in praying that several more kids sign up.

other than the crappy weather weve been having recently life is pretty good.

today was the last game of the jv season (we still have another week of varsity), i'm pretty sad i wont be seeing the girls six days a week anymore. the good news is that some of them are going to start coming to club, and might even come on beach break.

thats all the thrilling news i have for now. life is pretty normal.

my bowling league started yesterday.
yup, you read that right.
we had this meeting before and it was super funny, there were teams that were really into it, they were fighting about things like how many people should be on a team and how long it should last and what was allowed in the pit (the part where you have to wear bowling shoes), it was great. my team is just some of my friends that thought it would be funny to be on a bowling league so we were super obnoxious. were even having shirts made (they say 'bowling doesnt impress girls). the league is a no-tap league which means that guys only have to knock down nine pins to get a strike and girls only have to get eight. because knocking eight pins down isnt that hard i bowled a 209. i know, youre impressed.
bowling is so nerdy. i love it.

moving isnt fun. its like packing but longer, and packing sucks.
sitting through a chapel staff meeting after drinking lots of sweet tea is not so great either.
however, the sunny weather that made it possible for two bbq's today (lunch and dinner) is fantastic.

my life is finally starting to feel normal.
