So my new years resolution for 2011 was to blog regularly, apparently I didn't quite keep that one (unless regularly means once). So I figured I'd send 2011 off with one final blog post...it seems like a proper thing to do. 2011 was a tough year for me, like really tough. But instead of doing a winey annoying post about all that I decided to say a few things that went well. So here it goes...
-I spent the first three days of 2011 in three different countries
-I made some amazing new friends and am in the process of learning how to be a good friend to them and all the new people God keeps putting in my life
-I finally have a home and got to unpack all my things
-I have two jobs that I absolutely love doing
-I work at a high school that loves Young Life and wants us there. We had our first club this month and I got to share the message of Jesus with my high school friends.
-I'm getting involved in a community that has a deep desire to see people fall in love with Jesus
-I've been able to see God start to heal brokenness in my family

Even in the midst of all the hard stuff this year it's been amazing to see how good God has been to me (see list above). I'm glad 2011 is over (and ending on a high note) and I can't wait to see what God has in store for 2012

wanderlust. thats what ive been diagnosed with. and its a real bad case.

not sure yet if there's a cure.

ive been reading captivating. apparently every woman longs to be a part of a great adventure. i wonder if thats why im so desperate for one right now.
