i just got back from a week long conference in southern germany and i have two nights before my class starts here in heidelburg so i'm staying with the bryans (a family also on staff), they have two boys and the younger one is luke (i think he's six), luke was getting ready to leave for school in the morning and was impersonating an old person with a cane. i told him "dang youre so old" to which he responded "ya, i'm in college" .....apparently i'm really old.

i really wish i had time to write more but i just wanted to say that beach break was good. high school week was a blast, i took some of my favorite high school kids with me so it was so fun getting to be with them as they heard the gospel message (several for the first time). then i flew home for four days to be in mandie and justins wedding which was great. and then i flew back to italy for middle school beach camp which was also a lot of fun. we brough three of our high school kids back to help as leaders for middle school week, two of them to be small group leaders and one that didnt know jesus just because we wanted her to hear the message again and the latter one totally came to know jesus on that trip. so awesome. it really was a great two weeks, even with all the crazy travel. i leave on wed to go play in a soccer tournament in england...i'm a little nervous because were playing like 8 games with no subs and a man down so we should be pretty tired. but i'm excited to get to know the girls on my team better and to play soccer. so ya, life is nuts...but i like it that way.
